A temporary concrete batching plant is a type of concrete production facility used for specific projects or short-term construction. Unlike traditional fixed concrete batching plants, temporary concrete batching plants are usually more flexible and mobile, facilitating rapid deployment and dismantling to meet the needs of on-site works according to project requirements. They are mostly used for several small-scale temporary engineering projects, such as roads and bridges.
The main structural components of a temporary concrete batching plant include:
– Mixer: the core equipment used to mix raw materials (e.g. cement, sand, stone and water) into concrete, commonly a horizontal twin shaft concrete mixer or a forced concrete mixer.
– Raw material storage facilities: including cement silos, sand and gravel hoppers, etc., which are used to store all kinds of raw materials required for concrete production.
– Batching system: Used to accurately measure and proportion the raw materials to ensure the quality and performance of the concrete.
– Water System: Provides water for the production process, usually equipped with pumps and water tanks.
– Control System: Used to monitor and operate the whole mobile concrete batching plant, including PLC control system and operation panel.
– Conveying system: used to transport the mixed concrete to the construction site, may include conveyor belts or concrete pumps.
Temporary concrete batching plant has the following characteristics:
– Mobility: it can be quickly deployed and dismantled according to project needs, suitable for temporary or short-term projects.
– Flexibility: production capacity and concrete formulation can be adjusted to suit different project needs.
– Economical: Lower construction and maintenance costs compared to fixed concrete batching plants, suitable for projects with limited budgets.
– Quick installation: often designed for easy assembly and disassembly, reducing installation time.
– Environmentally friendly: modern temporary batching plants are often equipped with environmentally friendly facilities such as wastewater treatment systems and dust control devices to minimize the impact on the environment.
– Wide range of application: It is suitable for small and medium-sized projects or occasions that require temporary concrete mixing.
In short, temporary concrete batching plant is a flexible, economical and environmentally friendly concrete production solution for a variety of short-term construction projects.
